Welcome to the CBA-Productions
Website. CBA-Productions is a film production company, we are a simple
group of people, with many interesting ideas. We make short films, and
more recently we make full feature length films. We make these films for
fun, and to learn from. This site is a portfolio of the work we have done,
and what we are doing today. As we grow, the films we make grow and so
do the skills and equipment that are put into them. We hope you like what
you see, what you hear and what you find yourself immersed in. |

Been a while I know, but we are back with another update (finally!) to let you all know that work on both 'Graveyard Shift' and 'The Runaway' is complete. A trailer for the former should be online soon and another huge thanks to Mark Sipsma for composing the fantastic score for both that and the completed film. 'The Runaway' official trailer will also be up for viewing soon with a nice meaty photo gallery to go with it. Hang tight! In other news, rehearsals continue for 'Dead Man's Truth', which should begin shooting as soon as we have found our perfect location! Stay tuned. |

Right a few updates have accumilated so lets update you with whats been going on. Firsty check out the pages for both 'I' and 'Walking Home' to read the full reviews for both movies now online! The man behind them is independent reviewer Will Griffin so a big thanks to Will for taking the time to do these. Secondly another of our movies (the other being 'I') has just gone online over at youtube.com. To check out the short, 'Body', in full, just click the link and please do drop us a rating when you're done! Finally to say that as we speak the music score for our movie 'Graveyard Shift' is being put together by composer Mark Sipsma. Mark kindly offered to help us out after seeing 'Body' screened at the Watershed earlier this year. For examples of his work, check out his website. |

| Hello! Well......we haven't updated
in a while. Don't worry, everyone is alive and well and films are still
being made! First bit of news, Body was screened last night at the Watershed here in Bristol, as part of the Great Onion Shorts award scheme - where it won for Best Editing! (A vintage Bourbon which was promptly consumed very irresponsibly) - It went down very well with the audience too which is always nice (allowing for some networking in the bar later on). Beforehand myself and the rest of the cast had a group read through of the now completed 'Dead Man's Truth' script (it's 6th draft!) which seemed to go well, we're in the process of securing a location now and hope to shoot late summer. More to come on that. Let's see - so much to catch up on, well I'm sure you're all wondering about Graveyard Shift which is complete and will be screened soon! Scout's honour. In the mean-time, keep checking back for all the latest happenings here at CBA Productions! |

Hello again! Well here we are at the end of January and our first production of 2006 just entered it's final stages of editing. In just a couple of days 'Body' will be sent off to be submitted into the Great Onion Fim challenge being held here in Bristol. The screening should come around March time and you'll all be kept posted as more develops! A couple of other items now, the first of which is that 'The Runaway' should see completion this February, as only a small amount of ADR work remains to be done before it can see the light of day. Lastly, our previously untitled co-production with Hanover Pictures now has a title - 'Dead Man's Truth.' and the first draft script is complete...... Shooting begins soon.... |

Happy new year to you all! Well, we've just applied the final final FINAL (promise) touches to Graveyard Shift which means it's ready for it's premiere first thing in January. Date and venue details to come shortly. What a way to kick start CBA into 2006! Meanwhile, you'll see two new films have popped up in our index - Body, and The Runaway, the latter of which was shot by Simon as a group project in conjunction with his ITV Production Workshop, for which editing is still in progress. Body meanwhile is well... click it to find out! And finally, a third as of yet unlisted and untitled project will be appearing soon - near the end of January I expect, as we are currently planning a co-production with fellow production company Hanover pictures (who wish they could be as good) to be shot at the end of Jan/Early Feb. Check them out if you're really bored then come straight back here!! Chris Marshfield will write and star, along with myself, Paul Dudbridge, who runs Hanover, Ben Pavord (seen in The Runaway), and a few new faces! That's all for now! See ya soon! |

| Well ladies and gentlemen, we've finally
done it. After months of hard work, sweat, blood and tears, and several
computer cock - ups, Graveyard Shift looks to be complete, and reactions
to initial previews have been very promising. All that's needed are a few
additional sound effects and it'll be in the can, ready for it's premiere
which now will most likely be held in Bath at the Odeon. We'll keep you
apprised of all further details here. Final run time has come in at around 32 mins, which is a lot longer than anticipated but looking at the final product we've decided no cuts need to be made and it flows nicely as it is. Finally, some more news for you on other projects, - the first of which is that reviewer Will Griffin will soon be posting professional reviews on all our films for all to see right here on this site, and you can see some of his past work at HanoverPictures. Last but not least, you should soon be able to see previews of a new CBA Production here too, co-produced by Simon's ITV Production Workshop, entitled 'The Runaway.' Stay tuned for more. Anything else, oh yes, we recently entered the 'Great Onion film challenge' which challenges 25 applicants to create a 5 minute short based on their 3 opening scenarios by 31st January next year. Films will be screened at the Watershed in Bristol and then a winner will be chosen. We'll keep you updated as more comes in. |
